Free Paper Shred, Lightbulb Exchange, & Household Donations
From 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm in the back parking lot of Sandy Spring Bank (17801 Georgia Ave) one can
* Drop off up to 3 boxes/bags of paper. Please no newspaper.
* Donate both new and worn clothes, blankets, linens, towels, shoes, and household goods (artwork, frames, utensils, kitchenware, toys, instruments, and working household electronics) so time to clean out your closets and bring the items here. Choose 2 Reuse sends the items oversees to places these items are needed.
* Exchange your inefficient incandescent light bulbs for LED bulbs (limit 3 LED bulbs per family) thanks to the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection
* Drop off hard to recycle items and Green Olney will be sure they are properly recycled:

- Oral Care: Any brand toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, floss containers
- Disposable razors, blades
- Rigid plastic #6 (party) cups
- Plastic and glass food storage containers
- Squeezable snack plastic pouches and caps
- Beauty products: mascara tubes & wands, lip gloss/lipstick tubes, cosmetic cases, skin care droppers, tubes, bottles, pumps, tubs and lids; non-aerosol hair care spray bottles and pumps
- Brita filters, pitchers/dispensers, and packaging
