It's Olney Time
Meet the nonprofits that make Olney tick
Sunday
|
All are welcome to come to the Olney Farmers and Artists Market on Sunday, October 26th from 9 am to 1 pm to find out about the groups that make things happen in Olney. Representatives from Olney area nonprofits will be there to share the good work they are doing and how you can get involved. Each nonprofit you talk with will give you a raffle ticket for some great prizes.
Our many volunteer groups make Olney a great place to live. Who puts on events like Olney Days, National Night Out, Strawberry Festival, Field of Screams, or Community Night? Who maintains the Welcome to Olney sign at 108 and 97? Who provides food or rides for those that need it? Who is watching development plans both in town and throughout our community? This is your opportunity to learn about their missions and ways you can get involved.
Bring a friend. We look forward to seeing you.

A HUGE SUCCESS!
The entire Olney Days weekend was a great success! Despite the threat of rain, huge crowds came out to enjoy the events. Kids of all ages loved the light-up toys while waiting for Despicable Me 4 to begin at Friday’s Flix @ the Field. Ride Toward Hope saw its largest registration ever, and the Free Paper Shred collected over 600 pounds of paper.
The Party in the Park was full of family fun and capped off with a fantastic fireworks display. The Car & Truck Show attracted enthusiasts of all ages, and Bikes for the World will now be able to help even more people in need. Best of all, the rain held off for the Parade!
Please share your photos and videos by tagging Olney_Civic_Fund on Instagram and Olney Civic Fund on Facebook. Or, send them to [email protected] and we will post them.

What is Olney Civic Fund?
Olney Civic Fund's mission is to make Olney a great place to live and work by planning community events such as Olney Days, Barrel Aged Beer Event, and It's Olney Time.
Olney Days events are FREE to attend but the expenses for the entire Olney Days weekend cost $55,000. The largest costs is for Party in the Park and include the park rental fees, fireworks, and the stage & sound. Sponsorships cover most of the expenses but individual donations are also needed. As Olney has grown, Olney Days keeps the small town feel where new relationships are made and old relationships are nurtured.
